  My experience with Stonegate was not so much with the Church itself in fact I have heard people praise it. My experience was with the daycare located in the church. I was astonished on how me and my son were treated there in 2012 when I was attending college there for a semester. My son was two at the time and I was in the process of discovering his Autism diagnosis. The girls who cared for my son there complained of his behavior and speech and were never happy to see me. I would ask how his day went and they would be short and rude at times and they wouldn't even have written daily reports which bothered me. I communicated with the daycare director several times about my sons behavior and non verbal issues and told her I was addressing this issue with Speech Therapy and upcoming doctors appointments to find the cause of it all. The straw that broke the camels back was when Monica the director at the time called me to say that he hit another child and was wanting me to come pick him up which was fien by me but ten she had the nerve to tell me and he didnt apologize for hitting because he cant talk not that he would apologize anyways even if he could I was livid!!!! I never took him back after that and I do not recommend the Stonegate daycare for anyone who has children with special needs because clearly your not wanted there.
